General Rules

Note: This is a friendly community. Please do not use language that is offensive to most people above 13 years old.

Rule #1: This one should come off as obvious, but spamming is not allowed. Anything that's off topic or repetitive and annoying will count as spam (advertising included). The first offense will result in removal of the post/thread. Every offense after may result in more severe punishment, such as inability to make a post for a period of time.

Rule #2: Leave a dead topic dead. Unless there's a really important need for a topic to be bumped or rediscussed, don't bring up a topic that's over a month old. If you really must, tell a moderator or administrator.

Rule #3: Don't criticize others. You may comment on their ideas and opinions, but don't post something for the sole reason of making them feel bad.

Rule #4: Excessive swearing is NOT allowed.

Rule #5: Have good sportsmanship. If you lose a Pokemon match or a tournament, it's not the end of the world. Be respectful to your opponent when battling.

Rule #6: Don't copy without giving credit (no plagiarism). If you used someone else's ideas, give them credit and the source of your information.

Rule #7: Cover up your spoilers. If you want to spoil something for people, don't make it obvious.

Rule #8: Take your popularity elsewhere. There's no need to have popularity contests on a Pokemon forum. Don't specifically promote members for popularity.
